Visa requirements

Nationals from these countries do not require visas:

European Union, USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Israel, Brazil, Argentina, Singapore and Japan.

Note: If you are planning to stay in SA for more than three months some foreign nationals require visas. Check with your travel consultant, travel agent or nearest South African embassy or consulate.

A valid passport with two empty pages is essential and you may need to have a return fare or deposit money at customs to cover a fare home, which is refundable once you leave the country. You may also be required to show sufficient funds to support your visit.
